LG Electronics LG gets its name from the merger of two companies Lucky and GoldStar. The slogan Life'sGood followed the new company name and is called a backcronym. A backronym or bacronym is a phrase constructed after the fact to make an existing word or words match an acronym.
LG Electronics is a subsidiary of LG Corp, the second largest South Korean conglomerate after Samsung and is the third largest producers of mobile phones and second in television sets.
